PMRC23: the biggest event of the year for project management professionals! πŸŽ‰

 Wrapping Up #PMRC23: A brilliant way to architect resilience in project management with 400+ delegates making it a remarkable experience filled with engaging conversations and insightful sessions. 

Annesha Ahmed, President of PMI Bangladesh Chapter. Dr. Srini Srinivasan, Regional Managing Director (South Asia) of PMI, kicked it off with a fireside chat setting the context by delving right into innovation, resilience and infrastructure development in Bangladesh. Lee Lambert, the visionary behind PMP certification, delivered a keynote blending history and innovation and reiterated the importance of PMP. Ben Breen, Global Head of Construction & Vice President, PMI Asia Pacific discussed the relevance of our all-new construction certification especially in the wake of infrastructure development in Bangladesh. Geetha Gopal, Chief Operating Officer, Verdana (Singapore) enthralled the audience with her own personal journey of resilience that led to her PMP certification, shared her perspective on how artificial intelligence is an enabler and Russell T. Ahmed spoke about resilience, leadership, AI, and inclusive growth.




Coupled with this were noteworthy dignitaries from Bangladesh:

Abdus Salam, Senior Secretary at Bangladesh Parliament Secretariat, highlighted the importance of embracing resilience, developing strategies to overcome obstacles, and architecting resilience in Bangladesh's growth to elevate project management. Next up was M. A. N. Siddique, Managing Director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited, who shared insights on the transformative Dhaka Metro Rail Network 2030, receiving the Glorious Project Award for his exceptional leadership in the project.

 Major General Abu Sayeed Md. Masud (Retd.) delivered a keynote on Project Management for Mega Infrastructure Projects led by Bangladesh Army, showcasing exceptional leadership. Md Abdullah Al Mamoon moderated an engaging panel discussion with Mamun Rashid, Syed Mahbubur Rahman, and Fahad Ifaz, on project management challenges in Bangladesh's thriving economy. Farah Kabir, Country Director of ActionAid Bangladesh, shared a powerful story of resilient shelter construction, while Md Ziaul Haque Bhuiyan discussed resilience in a fast-paced business landscape, drawing insights from the journey of ShopUp.

 The audience was filled with excitement as Nigar Sultana Joty and Marufa Akter from the Bangladesh Women's Cricket Team graced the stage by delivering a session on leadership. All ears were tuned in to witness their remarkable journey in the 22 yards.

 The day at #PMRC23 concluded with the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the PMI Bangladesh Chapter, followed by the closing remarks from Prasanna Sampathkumar, Region 11 Mentor at PMI. Iqbal Chowdhury, Director of Program & Sponsorship at PMI Bangladesh Chapter, expressed gratitude in the Vote of Thanks, concluding the event on a high note.
